Young Professionals 101: Being a First Responder

Mike West has extensive experience with seismic studies, evaluations, retrofits, due diligence investigations, and value engineering. His areas of expertise is in the design of zoological, institutional, educational, commercial, R&D, healthcare and mixed-use/hospitality projects.

He has been a member of the California Task Force 8 Urban Search and Rescue Team (CATF8) with the County of San Diego for over 18 years.  His deployments with CATF8 include hurricanes Ike, Gustavo and Irma.  CATF8 has deployed to numerous natural and man-made disasters, including 9/11 and Oklahoma City.
